Proceeds will benefit four local non-profit canine rescue organizations: Bark Nation, Detroit Bully Corps, Dog Aide and Home FurEver. This year’s goal is to raise $50,000 to help the homeless, neglected and abused dogs of Detroit. Last year’s inaugural event raised nearly $13,000, which was used to provide shelter, rehabilitation, emergency medical care, community outreach, vaccinations, foster care, and forever homes.
The evening will feature special appearances by dogs rescued from the streets of Detroit, silent and live auctions, raffles, a DJ and more. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
The event is open to all ages. Humans only; service dogs permitted.
Together, we are barking back against the overwhelming neglect, overpopulation, abuse, ignorance, abandonment and fighting of thousands of dogs that did not choose to be born into a life of cruelty, and we hope you will bark back, too!
